After successfully hosting Nationals for the first time in 20 years, the Mid-Atlantic Division took some time and significant amount of digital ink to recap some of the work that went into the tournament and some of the primary outcomes. All told, the event took god knows how many volunteer hours to pull together, but everyone can agree that it was worth the time and effort.
From the Chairperson of the planning committee:
From the pristine pitches at Morven Park to the record-setting time management of the games, our tiny Division demonstrated to the nation, our friends in Canada, the GAA, the LGFA, and the Munster Council that we are capable of not only holding our own, but exceeding expectations. The success of the tournament is a true testament to the members of our local GAA community. The Mid-Atlantic united as a family and ensured our finals would go down in the record books as the best in as many years that could be recalled.
