When did you start playing football? I started playing football when I was 8 years old with my home club St Michaels GAA in Galway City.

How long have you played with the Gaels? 4 years

What’s your favorite thing about Gaelic games? Gaelic games are part of the fabric of being Irish. The sense of community and pride in the jersey at all levels of the game.

Best trainer on the squad: Terence Kane - like a fine wine. Has anyone figured out what County he’s from yet?

Worst trainer on the squad: Michael Mone hands down - if he even shows up that is.

Most skillful player: Big John Hanly, twinkle toes.

Longest in the shower: Our fearless leader Paddy McCabe.

If you could choose one player to join your squad, who would it be? Shaun Saul, he’s still coming back ya?

Ambition for the 2020 season: With the restrictions in place due to COVID the hope is we get out playing in some capacity even if that means some internal games between the teams.

Sporting idol (Past and Present): Present: David Moran (Kerry) - Class act and best midfielder in the country. Past: Ciarán McDonald (Mayo) - His intelligence on the field, ability to play the ball into space and that sideline he kicked against Dublin in 2006.

Best sporting advice you’ve received: Take your points, the goals will come.

Why should someone join the Gaels: It's a great social environment and opportunity to meet new people. It’s also nice hammering Baltimore up in their back garden a couple of times a year.
