Gaels Chairman appears on Up for the Match: In America

In normal years before the All-Ireland finals, RTÉ would host Up for the Match, a variety show of music and conversation with special guests from the world of the GAA. However, as with everything this year, a global pandemic upended the usual traditions. This year, the Irish Ambassador to the United States Daniel Mulhall worked together with Irish Network DC to host an online version of the show, Up for the Match: In America!

The show featured a preview of the match between Mulhall's native Waterford and Limerick. The chat featured Dr. Bríd Ryan, former chair of Irish Network DC, Paddy Meskell, chair of Solas Nua, Dermot Keyes of the Waterford News and Star, Jerome O’Connell of the Limerick Leader, and our very own Paddy McCabe to talk about hurling in America.
