USGAA Registration Process
To participate in competitive matches, you'll need to register with both the Washington D.C. Gaels and the USGAA, the governing body responsible for promoting Gaelic games in the United States.

Don't know what class of USGAA player you are?
Homegrown

Non-Irish born players. A player that was never eligible to participate in minor grade or adult grade with a club in Ireland or Britain.
Resident
-
A Homegrown Player or Player who has registered on or before April 30th.
Non-Resident Player

A player who has registered after April 30th and is not a Homegrown Player.
Non-Club Player*

1. Male player who has not registered with a GAA club for the previous 24 months

2a. Ladies Football player who has never before registered with LGFA or,

2b. Ladies Football player who has not played League or Championship for 3 years

3. Camogie player who has not played a competitive game for the previous 24 months

Intercounty Transfer:
If you are coming from anywhere outside USGAA i.e. Ireland, Canada, New York, UK, Europe, Australia, Middle East, Asia etc. This type of player follows a separate registration process via a self-service portal at Foireann.
